After a week i have to say the beat boots ive ever owned. The thing that surprises me the most how they just smell like great leather. Super comfortable not too hot soles are a little slick on oil ans solvents (mechanic shop) but certainly okay to wear. Of they last 6 months id buy another ive had everything from keen,danner,red wing,arit,timberland Chippewa and none compare the danners are close but run hotter definitely love em

This purchase needed to be returned (exchange/store credit) for the smaller size (13-in for 12-in -12EE would've been ideal but perfectly understandable that Origin needs to limit sizes to "even" sizes). Return process was somewhat cumbersome, however, that minor inconvenience (when compared to quality, USA mfg) was worth the trade-off for footwear manufactured in the USA (finally!).

Just tired of the mfg choices from CCP/China and Vietnam so, should Origin feel it necessary to raise prices (slightly?) we would still choose Origin.

I wore RedWings for decades. I loved em. But over the years quality has gone down. The outsole wore down supper fast and I needed a new pair of boots. I decided to get these. I loved the look and the materials. I have been wearing these now for a few months before I wrote this review. I love them. They still have that beautiful smell of a saddle. You know what I mean. That raw rough side of calf skin . I wish I could bottle that smell. They fit really good. The only issues I have are the insoles they wore down really quickly. The glue didn't hold that fabric layer and it separated. So I switched to a Dr Scholles . I usually do that with all my boots anyways. Also I had a issue with the stitching on the right boot. Creating a weird wrinkle on the vamp. It doesn't hurt anything. Just looks weird a little. Im happy with my first pair. Ill give a update in some years when the will need replacing. I use a lace lock so I never have to tie my shoes. I just lace and pull tight . Then tuck the extra lace under the 3rd row on top. Makes changing to my sneakers after my shift a breeze. Thanks Origin. Love these.

Buying American-made products matters to me, and Origin makes it easy to feel good about that choice. This isn’t patriotism for its own sake — it’s quality you can actually verify through use. My son is a hard man to impress when it comes to gear, and these boots impressed him.
