Our American-made denim jeans are designed to be the most comfortable jeans you have ever worn. These jeans offer true, American sizing, so you should be able to order your typical jean size with confidence. If you are unsure or in between sizes, we would recommend sizing up.




Our handmade American boots fit true to size, but we’ve received some feedback that they tend to run a bit narrow. In order to ensure you have the right size, we suggest measuring your foot against our BOOT SIZE GUIDE which you can download and print. Be sure to confirm your size guide is scaled accurately with the 7" measuring guide. If this does not measure to 7", your chart is not printed to the correct size and will not recommend the correct size boot for you. 


IMPORTANT NOTE: This boot-size guide was created for our Everyday Boots (formerly Heritage Boots), not our Work Boots (formerly Built Boots). Our footwear experts are currently working on standardizing the sizing of both boots, creating the perfect boot last. For the time being, our Work Boots will fit slightly larger than our Everyday Boots.



Our T-shirts offer a soft and comfortable fit with an athletic cut. We recommend ordering your typical shirt size, and if you are unsure or in between, size up.



Our 100 Kilo Hoodie Pullover and Full-Zip offer an athletic fit that’s made to taper to your body, and the Heavy Hoodie is designed to have a roomier feel to trap your body heat for those cold nights and early mornings. 


Gi Jackets & Gi Pants

Standard Gi Jacket: Our American Pearl Weave Gis and Atomic Twill Gis are designed to follow standard Gi sizing. Please use the sizing chart below to help find the right size for your Cowboy Cut Gi Jacket. Our Classic Pants size recommendations are also based on this standard Gi sizing chart.


Pro Pants & FLX Pro Pants: We recommend ordering the same size waist that you wear in jeans. For the inseam, we recommend ordering per the following guide:


Short 26" (5'4"-5'9")

Standard 28" (5'9"-6')

Long 30" (6'1"-6'3")



We offer a compression fit in both our long and short-sleeve shirts as well as a fitted version for select short-sleeve rashguards. Depending on your height, the sleeves on our long-sleeve rashguard may land a bit above your wrists. We recommend sizing up if you want full sleeve coverage to the wrist line. Refer to our comfort-fit vs. compression-fit sizing graphic below to help you decide which fit and size you prefer.

Product Questions and Gear Care


What is the best way for me to care for my boots?

There are a couple of different boot dressings that you can use. Our tannery has used the Danner clear boot dressing with positive results. Smiths All Natural Boot Balm is popular among employees and is Maine-made. However, there are several different companies that sell very similar dressings, so we do not specifically recommend one brand over another.


Here are our 5-step Cleaning/Dressing Directions:


  1. Use a damp towel to wipe any dirt off the boot.
  2. Once there is no noticeable dirt on the leather, let them dry off.
  3. Take a dry towel and clear boot dressing and apply a liberal coating to the entire boot. It is normal for the dressing to sit on the surface. You will probably want to repeat this step 1 or 2 times to make sure every area is covered. The leather will absorb it slowly.
  4. Let boots sit overnight so the dressing can work its way into the leather. You will typically want to let them sit for close to 12 hours. If you want to drive the boot dressing in quickly, you may apply heat from placement near a stove or with a blow dryer, but it will immediately darken the boots. We do not necessarily recommend this unless that is the look you are aiming for.
  5. In the morning, there should still be some of the dressing on the surface. Just wipe off the excess with a rag, and your boots should be good to go.


Note: The more regularly you dress your boots, the darker they will get over time.

Are ORIGIN™ boots waterproof?

Our boots are not entirely waterproof, but they are water-resistant up to the laces and tongue of the boot.


Are ORIGIN™ boots able to be resoled?

Yes, the soles are removable, making the boots resoleable. However, ORIGIN™ does not currently offer this service. We would recommend contacting a local cobbler for any resoling or other alteration needs.


Do the product colors match the images online?

We have made every effort to display products exactly as they will look when you receive them. The pictures may appear differently depending on the monitor that you view them on and/or the natural variations in organics such as leather. Every hide has variability in its coloration, which is part of the beauty and uniqueness of our handmade boots.


How do I care for my gear?

What are the differences between Gis?

If you're looking for a Gi to compete within the IBJJF, we recommend our NANO PEARL™ Weave Gis. They have a rough exterior to punish the hands of your opponent when stripping grips, but the interior is smooth and comfortable. These Gis have been approved for major competitions, including the IBJJF. Make sure you check with your instructor for Gi fitment before entering any competition. NANO PEARL™ is the perfect choice if you need an option for both training and competing. NANO PEARL™ is available in black and white across three distinct designs: the Comp Gi, Path Gi, and DEF Gi.


What makes ORIGIN NANO PEARL™ special? This innovative weave is 10x stronger than the industry standard 100% cotton gi jacket, yet it’s half the weight, coming in at only 13 OZ/440 GSM. It doesn’t stretch when you're sweat-soaked in the heat of battle, and it performs consistently - roll after roll, day after day. This new textile also dries as you sweat, wicking moisture away from your body and drying in real-time while you roll so that as you heat up, it cools you down.


Our Warrior Line Gis are a great choice for those living or training in hot/humid climates or dojos. They are extremely lightweight, quick-drying, and compact, which makes them ideal for travel. Currently, we offer these in white (Everest), black (Apache), and royal blue (Honor).


Please note that we have limited sizes and quantities of the gray (Gun-Metal), Abyss (navy blue), and olive green (S.I.) as these colors/models are being discontinued and will soon be removed from our website.

What is a Swiveloc belt?

We have created a Swiveloc Belt system that allows for the pants to be cinched tight around the waist. The belt does not come undone as you are rolling like classic rope belts. Simply put the belt on, clip it, cinch it, and roll — never having to adjust until you're done training.

What is the difference between Delta Flex Jeans and ORIGIN™ Work Jeans?


Our Delta Flex Jeans (formerly Delta 68 Denim Jeans) and ORIGIN™ Work Jeans (formerly Factory Denim Jeans)  actually use the same patterns. However, the lighter, more flexible textile of the Delta's makes them a bit more of a slim fit. The Deltas have 20% more stretch and feel like a base layer even though they are an outer layer. Our Delta Flex denim is an 8.5 oz textile, while our ORIGIN™ Work denim is a 11.5 oz textile.


What happened to Legit Fit and Fighter Fit?

In redesigning our site, we renamed a number of our products to account for upcoming releases. If you’re used to buying Legit Fit, you’ll now look for Straight. And if you like Fighter Fit, shop for Taper.


What products and fits have been renamed?

Delta Flex Jeans/Delta Flex Denim:  This product/fabric was formerly available as the Delta 68 Jean/Denim. Only the name has changed.


ORIGIN™ Work Jeans/ORIGIN™ Work Denim: This product/fabric was formerly available as the Factory Denim Jean/Denim. Only the name has changed.


The ORIGIN™ Work Boot: This product was formerly available as The ORIGIN BUILT™ Boot. Only the name has changed.


Standard Lug: Standard Lug boots were formerly listed as Mini-Lug. Only the name has changed. 


Fit - Bottoms - Straight: This fit was formerly offered as Legit Fit. Only the name has changed. 


Fit - Bottoms - Taper: This fit was formerly offered as Fighter Fit. Only the name has changed. 


Fit - Tops - Compression:  This fit was formerly offered as Compression Fit. Only the name has changed. 


Fit - Tops - Fitted: This fit was formerly offered as Comfort Fit. Only the name has changed. 


Returns, Repairs, Restocking, and Exchanges

Return Policy 

At ORIGIN™, we hope you love your gear and wear it out. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a refund to your original form of payment or a refund as store credit. Items will not be accepted for return or exchange if they have been customized, worn, washed, or used. Please use THIS LINK to request a return. Simply fill out the form with your order number, email, and request. Reach out to our Customer Experience department with any questions.


EXCEPTION:  Please note that undergear, spats, and other final-sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.


Initiate Return or Exchange

We have a very flexible return/exchange policy, which states that as long as an item is unwashed/unused, you may return it to our factory in exchange for another size, model or color. Refunds as available as a store credit or back to your original payment.

If your order was placed within the last 30 days, you can use THIS LINK to fill out our return form and begin the process. Scanning the QR code on the back of your invoice will also bring you to this link.

If your return is outside the 30-day return window, no worries. Contact our Customer Experience team via email at info@originmfg.com or by phone at 207-305-3222. We can generate a return label which will need to be paid for at your local post office or UPS pickup point. We will still cover the cost of shipping back to you as long as you are within the lower 48 US states. Just ship unworn/unused item(s) back to us with a note stating your order number and request, and we'll proceed accordingly.


What are my options for refunding my order?

There are two refund options for returned items.



One-hundred percent of the value of all returned products are issued in the form of a store credit to your ORIGIN™ customer account. There's no rush using your credit as it has no expiration and can be used towards any future ORIGIN™ purchases.

If you do not have an account, no worries. An account will be created for you.



This refund is issued to your card or other payment method that was used to purchase the item(s).


Does ORIGIN™ Offer Repairs?

We stand behind our products 100% and offer a lifetime warranty towards any manufacturing defects. Please submit a repair request via THIS LINK.

Order Status

Awaiting Fulfillment

The status "Awaiting Fulfillment" means that payment has been accepted and that your order is currently in production. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your shipping label is generated!


How long will it take for my order to ship?

Shipping times will vary depending on the product(s) purchased. Order fulfillment times are listed on individual product pages.

If there is not a fulfillment banner, then the item should fall within our typical fulfillment window of 7-10 business days depending on seasonality and promotions.


Can I change my order?

Yes, we can change items in an order as long as the order has not been fulfilled. Please know that order changes could delay your order fulfillment time.


Payment Options and Bolt Checkout

Can I use multiple forms of payment for the same purchase?

Our system does not currently have the capacity to accept multiple payment forms through our general checkout process. However, we would be happy to process your order manually. Please give us a call at 207-305-3222 between our business hours of 9AM–5PM EST, Monday–Friday. We are here to assist you. 


Payment rejected by Bolt?

If your credit or debit card payment was recently rejected/declined, you should receive an email from Bolt (our payment processor) in regards to confirming your account and getting the payment approved.

Feel free to reach out to support@bolt.com if you are having trouble approving a recently rejected payment.

If your order was permanently rejected, payment will not be processed, and the order will not be completed. A new order must be created.

If your order was permanently rejected and you are seeing a pending charge in your bank account, please be assured that this will be removed promptly, and the funds will not be taken.


Where can I apply a discount code to my order?

Select the "Checkout" option from your cart, then click "discount" on the checkout screen and enter your code. See screenshots below for reference.

Will I receive a notification or tracking number when my order ships?

Yes, you will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your shipping label is generated.


International Shipping

Customs fees/duties are not included in the cost of the product or shipping. These fees vary item to item and country to country and are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping rates are calculated based on the delivery location, weight, and size of the parcel.


My package was delivered, but I did not receive it.

ORIGIN™ is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. However, we will do our best to help you locate the package and are able to file a claim on your behalf for most shipments upon request.

Typically, if you did not receive a package once it is marked as delivered, it will show up within 10–15 days, which is the time we are required to wait before filing a claim or taking further action. If you still haven't received your items after this time, please reach out to us so that we may open an investigation with the shipping carrier.

Though this may be obvious, we do suggest checking with any other members of your household, with neighbors, under any porches or decks, and in/around any garages or sheds as parcels are often found in these locations.
