I was initially hesitant about these boots since they’re a new style from Origin. However, my first impression is outstanding—exceptional quality, styling, and fit. There’s no heel slip, and the toe box is perfectly sized. Supporting a company like Origin, which manufactures in the USA, is a priority for many of us. These boots justify the premium price compared to overseas alternatives. Not only are you backing American craftsmanship, but you’re also getting a superior product. Well done, Origin!

Comfortable at the office and the 1/2 mile to get there. Recommend cleaning and treating them though so they look great as the miles add up.

First off, let me say that I have been a huge fan of Origin for years. I own many other Origin pieces and will continue to be a loyal supporter of the brand.
I have never received more compliments! Despite having to sell the boots, I still think they deserve 5 stars. These are excellent boots in terms of build quality, materials, and overall craftsmanship. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, and I really wanted them to work for me.
For context, I have a wider forefoot (left foot EE, right foot EEE) and a narrower heel, which is basically the worst foot shape for a Chelsea boot. Even in the EE width, I found the toe box shape to be a bit more tapered than expected, which created some pressure in the forefoot during wear. The heel is also fairly structured, causing heel rubbing nearly every time I wore them. I had the boots for about a year and wore them maybe 25-30 times, always with a wool sock, but I couldn't get them to mold to my unique foot shape.
I think these would be a great option for those with standard to moderately wide feet. For individuals with a wider toe splay, the fit may be more challenging even in EE. I also found the sizing to run a bit small. That said, I'm not sure that going a half or full size up would have remedied my particular situation.
I also have a pair of the Coronado 6 inch boot in EE, and this last seems to fit my foot a bit better, as the toe box seems to be a true EE.
Overall, a high-quality product—just not the right…

This is my first pair of Origin footwear. They are expertly crafted and the general fit gives the impression that after break in they will be great and last a very long time. For the moment the toe box is too tight. Time will tell, but if they stretch a bit those four stars will become five.
