This is, without question, the best belt I’ve ever owned. The leather has that perfect balance of durability and flexibility—worn in just enough to feel broken-in without sacrificing structure. I went with the whiskey color, which looks even better in person. The sizing is spot on, especially when paired with Origin pants. For reference, I wear a 30 waist in Origin pants, and the size 30 belt fits perfectly. I typically use the last hole or the second hole in if I want a snugger fit—no need to trim the belt or deal with excess leather flapping around. It’s functional, clean, and clearly built to last.

First off, I am a huge fan of a bunch of Origins stuff. Love their moc toe boots and their jeans are the only pants I will wear. This belt is not capable of handling a full size pistol. It is much stretchier than a leather belt should be in my opinion. Also I had to drill hole in the belt to make it go tight enough, even though I ordered the same size that I wear with the origin delta jeans.
At the sale price of 40 something dollars i think you are getting what you pay for. But for the full price of 80 something dollars you are much better going to a legitimate gun belt for pretty much the same price. It might work for a compact or sub compact polymer pistol, but it will not support a Commander sized 1911.

I purchased this belt in December 2023 after getting tired of buying cheap belts that would peel and need to be replaced every couple of months. I came across Origin through the Jocko Podcast and decided to give it a shot.
Now it is June 2026, and the belt has held up incredibly well. I wear it almost daily and it still looks great. The patina it has developed over time looks awesome and gives it even more character.
If anyone is in need of a quality belt, do not hesitate to pick one up. I would like to get a pair of boots next because this belt has shown me that Origin’s leather quality is excellent.
