This hoodie is both tough af and super comfy, so it's become my number 1 and I've basically been living in it this season. It get's a well earned 5 stars, for sure. That being said, if there was one place where it still has untapped potential - it would be the hood. Origin if you're reading this: PLEASE ADD NYLOC TO THE HOOD TOO.
I'm often in the mountains in the North Atlantic - from the Catskills, to the Adirondacks, the Whites, and Katahdin - and have gotten rained on plenty. One thing I've noticed is that the shoulder/upper chest area which is covered in nyloc is basically good to go even in reasonably decent rain. They dry fast and shed the water surprisingly well. However, the hood just absorbs water, and is the main limiting factor. If you just extended the nyloc to cover the hood too, it would be fricken solid af. I know it's not designed to be a rain jacket, or whatever, but dang, just a simple extension of nyloc to cover the hood would unlock a really water resistant beast mode.

I love this hoodie. I got the MD since the LG was sold out and it was on sale a little. I love the fit, except for the fact that it just isn't quite long enough down the waist. I kept it because the LG was out of stock, but part of me wishes I would have waited until it came back in stock. I bought the Kilo Light in MD and it is perfect. The heavy hoodies just fit different.
But that's all on me. Can't give it anything but a 5 star based on the build quality.

You're absolutely right that the Heavy Half Zip fits differently than the Kilo Light - that heavier weight fabric and construction does create a different silhouette and drape. It's one of those things where each piece in the line has its own character, and sometimes that means the sizing translates a bit differently between styles.
That combination of loving the fit overall while dealing with a length preference is exactly the kind of honest feedback that helps us understand how these pieces are performing in the real world. The fact that you kept it and still recognize that build quality shows this hoodie is delivering on the durability and construction front, even if the sizing didn't line up perfectly with what you were hoping for.
