    Form over function.

    To start on a positive note, these look fantastic and will probably last a very long time after I fix the issues listed below.

    However that is the only positive for this $100 pair of sandals that I have been waiting a long time for.

    The fit on these is absolutely terrible, the thin piece of fabric used to achor the strap has zero substance and makes the whole design fall apart and constantly feel like its going to fall off your foot. At first it was almost too tight out of the box but the leather stretched and molded to my foot and that flimsy lose fabric did nothing to control the stretch and now I have a very pretty but borderline unbearable to wear pair of sandals.

    I will stick to my rainbows, gumbies and combat flip flops and origin should stick to what they know because these are terrible.

    Last Flip-flop I’ll ever need

    These are build like a tank and comfortable to ware for extended periods. The strap is slightly loose (and I have. pretty wide feet), if I’m nitpicking, but not a real issue.

    Well built.

    Very well built. Thick but flexible outsole. Comfortable leather, the straps feel good.

    I’ve worn them out a dozen times and the straps have begun to loosen a bit. As someone with a slender build this is concerning. If the straps continue to loosen I won’t be able to comfortably keep them on my feet.

    I write this as feedback so that version two of this sandal can be the best possible.
