I’ve been wearing Origin jeans exclusively for about 4 years now. They have never let me down. They’re tough, comfortable, and always have a perfect fit. I recently picked up the relaxed fit just to give that version a try. They’re great and will be perfect for the rest of the summer. A few things to know:
1) They do come a little bit larger than a standard or bootcut fit (which are the same through the waist and thigh, in my experience), more in line with what a pair is like after they’ve been worn a little while. I suspect this relaxed pair will shrink some once they’ve been washed and dried a time or two. They’re not so large that sizing down is necessary.
2) As others have noted, the logo is now sewn onto a pocket flap and no longer embroidered above. The rivets have also changed from what I can tell. Neither of these are functionally different, just changes from jeans bought a couple years ago.
3) The leg opening at the bottom is somewhere between the Standard (old school “Legit Fit”) and the bootcut. I measured each leg opening laid flat:
•Legit/standard: ~8”
•Bootcut: ~8.75”
•Relaxed: ~8.5”

I normally wear a comfortable 38x32, I had to return my 38x32 jeans for 36x32. Supre easy return porcess, super comfortable jeans

Another pair of jeans that are unmatched in quality and comfort. The fit match’s the description and is very comfortable. I would highly recommend these to anyone.
Note a couple of things that could be altered but are not necessary are wider pocket openings and a small pocket for your pocket knife inside of the pocket.

I love Origin jeans. I have four pairs and a pair of the canvas work pants. I was disappointed by one change that was made to the Work Jeans. The "Origin" logo is no longer stitched into the jeans above the left rear pocket. This is a shame. This was a cool feature that I miss on my most recently purchased pair. Bring it back!!!
