Reviews Summary
Customers say these boot cut jeans offer excellent fit and comfort, particularly over cowboy boots and work boots. Many appreciate the deep pockets, thick denim construction, and slight stretch that provides flexibility without feeling like "jeggings." Users frequently mention the superior build quality and durability compared to other brands. Several note the jeans fit true to size, though some experienced sizing inconsistencies between orders. Common praise includes the comfortable waist fit and proper boot cut opening that drapes well over footwear. A few customers found the thigh area too tight or baggy, describing an unflattering fit through the hips and thighs.

The absolute best jeans in the market

I work in the residential construction industry as a carpenter. I do everything from earth work, concrete, framing, to finish carpentry. For the past 20 years, I’ve worn Levi’s 505 and Wrangler Cowboy cut jeans for work. I was always on the fence to try jeans that cost $100 or more. After listening to an interview with Pete on a podcast and listening to his story about Origin, I finally pulled the trigger and bought 3 pairs of the boot cut work jeans. Because of the cost, i had these three pairs of jeans for a 5 days work week (instead of buying 5), worn multiple days without a wash. For context, when I wore Levi’s or Wranglers, I would get about 3 months before a huge hole developed in the knee, as I kneel a lot on the job sites. Also, Levi’s and Wranglers are about $60 a pair. I’ve attached a photo with a pair of Origin Boot Cut Work jeans I purchased October 2023 next to a pair of brand new Origin Boot Cut Work jeans I received April 2025 and I’ve been telling everyone about the quality. They lasted 1 year 6 months before the hole in the knee got pretty large, although not as large as the Levi’s or Wranglers would be at 3 months. The price tag seems steep but when you do the math compared to Levi’s or Wranglers it’s actually much more cost effective to buy the better quality jeans as they last so much longer and you can feel very proud that you are supporting a company that has put American manufacturing at the forefront. What Pete has done is remarkable and very…

    Pocket Ripped After 3 Month

Pockets are ripping out after 3 months of easy wear. I really like the look and fit, but they just aren’t holding up.

Hi Brian! Thanks for the honest feedback about the ORIGIN® MAVERICK JEANS - BOOT CUT. We're glad to hear you love the look and fit, but we're definitely bummed that the pockets are giving you trouble after just 3 months, especially with easy wear.

That kind of durability issue isn't what we expect from our gear, and your experience is exactly what our design and quality teams need to hear. We want our jeans to hold up to real-world use and clearly we missed the mark here.

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback. It helps us identify where we need to improve our construction and materials.
