After wearing the boots I discovered a hard piece of plastic on inside front of the left toe box that would scratch my toe if my foot was towards the front of the boot. I have no idea what this could’ve been. My best guess is a patch for the boot liner. The boots were too worn to return in my opinion so I removed it myself which was difficult and it left a hole in the boot liner.
I think that these are great looking and comfortable boots, and they seem to be well constructed overall. I do not think that proper quality control or inspection of this particular pair of boots would have passed them on to the customer.
I made a choice to pay a higher price point to support an American made product that I was expecting to be of the highest quality and standards but received something I think most people would consider un-wearable. 5 star product if it makes it out of the factory free of defects.

I've worn redwing boots for 25 years. These are far better built and feel great right out of the box. I'm sure they will last for years.

I wear boots all the time,but I wanted a boot for the weekends camping and hiking.so the search started,and I would have to say their are a lot of boots to consider.but during my career I always would pay the extra to buy American made, but thru the years it became almost impossible until I learned about origin thru Rose anvil YouTube channel. then I looked further into origin.Id have to say it brought a tear to my eyes. Well,the shoes I choose were even better than I expected,fits like a boot but if you don't look down to check feels like a athletic shoe . Sounds crazy but true. Fits perfect for my needs.

I'm very excited. Found the box on the table when I got home after a crazy long day at work. I can just tell after brake in they will be my favorites. The pull up on the leather is amazing. The look of the 360 welt great. Looking forward to putting in lots of miles in these bad boys.
My foot is a D width. The EE feels like ferm grip so I'm happy with my choice. My only criticism is what I think are tooling marks on the top of both toe boxes. I was able to rub a bit of it out with my thumb but there is dark spots and small dents. This I'm sure will blend right in after the first walk with the dog.
I strongly recommend the boots and love supporting a company with such a strong moral compass.

I love my redwings but wanted another pair of boots... something different and had heard about origin and love what they stand for and believe in! These are comfortable right out the box especially for boots the ankle part is a little stiff but breaking in nicely even within a few days. Glad Origin came out with a 360 welted boot give me more confidence on durability! I highly recommend these boots! My next pair will definitely be Origin boots. I did put my flags from my redwings on because AMERICA!
