I was really excited about the lugged-soled Chelsea option. The sole is great and seems like it'll last on job sites and is comfortable on various surfaces. However, after only 5 months of wear, I have already worn through the heel cup leather. It's caused the worn piece to flip up and blister my heel. The leather gets crusty from sweat, which makes them uncomfortable to put on. As a surveyor, I have been looking for a dependable, long-lasting boot that can perform just as well on construction sites as it does hiking through the woods. Still haven't found the perfect boot yet.

I often struggle to find a good work boot, especially a chelsea style boot. Have a-lot of different styles and makes including some from Nick's, White's, Redback's etc and these are hands down the most comfortable foot bed I have found on any of them by a long shot even right out of the box. Long hours no problem, climbing no problem, walking around the grocery store.. no problem at all either. Not only are they comfortable they look fantastic as well. Time will tell for durability but I have faith they will last a good while. Also to note I'm wearing them outdoors 12 plus hours a day in the Phoenix Arizona summer and they have been absolutely fine heat wise, both the brown and black leather.

I typically measure in at 10.5W and ordered 11W and they fit just fine. Snug in all the right places and loose where they need to be.
