I've been wearing these for approximately 6 months now, and bought a second pair shortly after, and several other pairs of pants within this category from other brands; I tested all of these on several long family trips and a cruise, and I feel confident in saying these are the single best pair of nylon pants on the market.

I'll get the single nit-picking Con out of the way first: for the single most expensive piece of clothing I've ever owned, I was disappointed to find loose threads. It hasn't caused any problems (yet). Origin, get it together and improve the quality of your stitching, please.

Pros:

- The nylon material is used *consistently* throughout the pants. Other brands use other materials inside the pockets, leading to failure points.

- These pack down extremely well. When I first received it, I was shocked by how small the bag they had shipped them in was. With these I can easily fit a complete spare set of clothes into my EDC waist pack.

- Despite being extremely thin, the fabric has shown no signs of wear and tear; I spend most of my day chasing my toddler around the apartment, and carpet abrasion has destroyed so many of my pairs of pants that I eventually started wearing upland hunting brush pants in everyday life. (It works, but they're too warm for July.) Somehow these GTFO pants have kept up with that lifestyle so far, while being infinitely more comfortable for pushing a stroller for an hour or two each day in July weather.

Super lightweight and comfortable. Nice features especially water resistance. Only downside is that the pants ride up above my boots when I sit down. I think this is because of the weight of the material because I have jeans and MOAB in the same size and those pants don’t.
