When we set out to build the GTFO Collection, we handed it to a bunch of Gen X’ers and told them to do what they do best. They jumped out of airplanes, hiked the Appalachian Trail, hunted in the Maine mountains, and wandered the cobbled streets of Europe. We made a few tweaks, refined the fit, and built the perfect pant—one that performs day after day after day.

We documented the first time we put the GTFO Pant to the test. Naturally it involved Special Forces Operators jumping out of helicopters into the remote backcountry of MOAB, UT.

ORIGIN NYLOC®

Origin NYLOC® is a proprietary 99% nylon, 1% spandex performance fabric engineered for rugged durability, lightweight comfort, and unrestricted movement. Weighing just 7.2 oz, it delivers military-grade abrasion resistance, 4-way stretch, water and odor resistance, and mil-spec reinforced stitching. Built to handle harsh conditions and high-output activity, it's designed and developed in the USA and proudly manufactured in Asheboro, North Carolina.

SECURE STORAGE

Two streamlined thigh pockets give the GTFO Mountain Pant stealth storage without the bulk. Positioned for comfort and quick access, especially when seated. Each pocket is secured with a rugged YKK zipper, keeping your essentials close and your movement unrestricted.

ENHANCED PROTECTION

The GTFO Mountain Pant is reinforced at the knees with a second layer of ORIGIN NYLOC® doubling durability right where it counts. Built to take the hits from crawling, climbing, or kneeling on unforgiving ground. And for next-level protection, each knee is designed to accommodate pad inserts for those who push even harder. (Knee pads sold separately)

    I couldn't be happier with the GTFO line of pants/shorts. I purchased a pair of shorts beginning of summer and I wear them every weekend. I have lost 60lbs. since I began purchasing Origin clothing, so I keep buying the next size down.

    I have a small recommendation on the line... a small patch of stiffer material or a increased layer at the back corner (nearest leg) to facilitate carrying an everyday knife with a pocket clip concealed. The stiffer material would allow for better deployment and re installation for knives that are used multiple time daily.

    GTFO and wear these britches!

    I got two pair of the GTFO Mountain Pants in size 34/34. Just call me sponge Bob square pants. Both pair fit perfectly but there was one difference in the two pair. The length was not the same. One pair was perfect and the other pair was a little short. Not enough to make me want to send them back but it is noticeable. I've had the same problem with the Origin jeans in the past. I'll still wear them and enjoy them on my Western National Park trip coming up.

    Nice idea bad durability

    Nice and lightweight with lots of usable pockets but very low durability. Already falling apart in the airport before I even got on the plane for the trip I bought them for.

    Really enjoying these pants so far. Lightweight and durable within reason. I've worn them to Total Archery Challenge and several shooting matches and they were comfortable the whole time. They hold up great with friction from my thighs. Relaxed fit and feel. Excellent pants for the hike, light work, or the range.
