I’m not surprised that Origin has another quality product , but I’m impressed with how comfortable this gi jacket is. It’s durable and soft, so your training partners will thank you for providing great fabric for their grip game. I line dry mine to keep that collar stiff for the lapel game. 🤙🏻

Huge fan of Jocko! Bought the full GI ago a week ago and it came in within the week! Used it for my Thursday night class. The GI breathes great, the pants or form fitting but comfortable and still allow for a phenomenal range of motion (better than any of my Kings GI’s). Should have got a regular 28 in-seam but the 30 still works and it’s within specs! I’m already shopping for a second one!

I really love the product. It’s very durable. The material feels great, but after the first wear, my knees are black and they really got wear and tear on it after the first wear, which is fine. It looks like it’s used, but it just sucks that it didn’t stay white completely But otherwise love the GI

Me: 5’ 11” 200 lbs 35 yo Former college baseball player w/ decently broad shoulders and strong legs. CrossFit a couple days per week. Father of 3 kiddos under 5. Pictures in rash guard for reference on body type.
Upon reading and listening to a few reviews on their gi sizing, I chose to order an A2 despite being recommended A3 by the Origin sizing guide and automated sizing system. Specifically, Jiu Jitsu Pilgrim on YouTube has a great review where his buddy, Ryan (5’11” 205 athletic build), has an A2 gi that fits him great.
In my opinion, which is admittedly lacking a ton of experience as I’m new to jiu-jitsu, this gi fits me perfectly. The shoulders are not too tight. The waist fits great and the sleeve and gi length seem to be perfect. I’ve provided photos for reference. You be the judge.
So, I’m not going to mark this review down at all. I think their sizing system could use some refining, but that isn’t a mark against the gi itself.
It is comfortable, the cut is great, and it is made in America which I think warrants paying a bit of a premium for supporting an endeavor that’s trying to make stuff here.
I chose the comp gi because I’m a fan of a more minimalist aesthetic.
I follow the washing instructions. Wash cold, tumble dry low (real low because this dries quite quickly) and I have had no issues with shrinkage.
