The fit is perfect in arm length and chest. It’s light and dries quickly. Washes well and doesn’t shrink. I’ve had several other gis and they’ve all shrank over time and are so much thicker. The collar is much more comfortable and I’ve noticed less discomfort when wearing this new gi.

This Gi jacket is so much lighter than my previous one. It moves with me as well as my 2 year old jacket that is well broken in. The material, although light feels very durable and the stitching was apparently done with the idea of using this jacket as a tow strap if needed.

5-6 years ago when I got my first Origin gi, I was in love. I swore to never buy another gi from another company as long as I own a gi. Well I lied, or Origin became too big. I think it’s the latter. They no longer offer long gi jackets, (A4L), being 6’6 I can’t fit into these traditional gi jackets that they only offer anymore. I have now since moved to other company’s for gis and no gi attire.

Great fit and quality. 100% worth it.
