For reference I am 5’7 and 140 lbs athletic build.
I have these in a 32 and been wearing a few months now but they are huge and I am constantly adjusting. I prefer a loose fit for movement but they are very baggy in the waist/thighs ect. I will say I love the light weight fabric and why I was sold on buying another pair in a smaller size. 32: waistline massive and while I understand that’s why you have a belt, waistline is HUGE to the point where it’s just moving all around. Tightened belt as much as I can and still distractingly sloppy big. I could gain a solid 40 lbs and this would still fit. So I sized down to a 30 and they are too tight. The main issue I see is the cut of them are very tight across the hips and waistline almost seems to flair out where it should be more narrow? I am female but have worn lots of male clothing over the years, gender neutral/ military uniforms ect and these just don't make sense even for a GI. The Velcro opening is not nearly deep enough and about half the length of similar pants I’ve seen making it hard to open enough to pull over your butt even if the rest fits. I wondered if they had a middle size —31 if that might work but still wouldn’t account for the weird/awkward cut of a super wide waist and tight across the hips. Even for men’s clothing there is typically some slight taper to a narrower waistline from what I have tried previously. Love the brand and all they are about but the design on these are not what I had hoped…

I wear 34/34 in Origin jeans. I purchase a pair of 34 LONG pants in white and noticed they were a little snug in the hips/quads so I gave them to a buddy. I reordered the same pants in black but in a 38 long and couldn’t be happier. If I could go back I think a 36 would have sufficed but I like a little more room. The length is perfect.
