I've gone through several red wings over the course of 12+ years of construction type work I've done. I decided to buy American and stop consuming so much. Quality above all. These boots are no exception. Tell you what, the first time you go to tie them up and you feel how SOFT the laces are, you know something is different. Right away. Break in was super easy. Maybe 3 days of work and they started creasing in all the right places. I DO NOT NEED INSERTS WITH THESE. The sole is so freaking comfortable. Feels like memory foam and whatever makes it different, also makes it better than having memory foam in your boots haha. Great work. Happy customer here!

I have been looking at Origin for a few years but hesitated to the purchase for 1 I needed Mock toe steel toes which they now offer but mainly because I could not touch and feel/try on. Well I got to say the fit like a glove, I previously wore Irish setter mock toes and ordered the exact same size and they are a perfect fit. Upon getting them right away I could tell the stitch work and seams were far superior to the previous setters. Along with that the leather thickness and stiffness was a much higher quality. Upon first putting them on they are a snug fit but that is normal with a good leather as they will break in and after a 16 hour day on my feet on the concrete my feet feel great and my back is not sore!!! For reference I am 54, 6 ft, 220 pounds and well built, been wearing redwings or Irish setters for years but no more!

I purchased these for my husband after hearing about them for over a year. The look on his face when he opened the box, was priceless. He put them on and the size was perfect! He loves everything about these boots. He said they were the most comfortable pair of steel toed boots he has ever worn.
