Very well made! Not wind resistant. Need an outer layer for it on the colder/windy days. Regulates body temp well.

TLDR: Buy the wool stuff now, and hope Origin makes some camo canvas gear in the future.
I wore Origin hunt gear for the past 4 months of hunting season, and I wore it hard. I took ducks, geese, pheasant, quail, dove, rabbit, band-tail pigeons, turkey, and a coveted Southern California deer this year, all while wearing Origin stuff. I’ve walked countless miles in these clothes, with and without packs, in hot weather and cold weather.
The shining star of this line are the wool blend pieces. My favorite hunt pieces are the stealth wool hoodie, nano wool ninja shirt, and stealth wool pants. The wool hoodie and pants are exceptionally warm, and I have worn this combo down to near freezing (as long as it’s not windy!). Like other reviews point out, the camo pattern on the wool fades immediately with a first wash, even on a gentle cycle with room temp water. This is actually a huge plus to me, as the faded look blends in a lot better with the arid climates I hunt in. You can see the fade in some of my photos, comparing the washed wool to the “nyloc” patches, which didn’t fade, that are sewn into the hoodie.
I’ve also worn the nyloc parka extensively. The parka works for me, but I can’t speak to any climates well below freezing, because I haven’t been able to test it enough. It cuts the wind quite well, and I like that the hood is stowable. Because it’s the nyloc fabric, I think the camo is just too dark for southern california coastal chaparral and desert climates.
