I’m coming from a nice pair of Thursday Captain Boots. Once those had broken in they were the most comfortable pair of footwear I had own. But admittedly, they were very nice boots and ones that I almost felt bad abusing. They also were not made in America which in recent time has become a crucial factor for me when purchasing durable goods.
So I wanted a boot that was American made, looked great in any scenario and would age amazing over time through wear and tear.
So I took the gamble and purchased a pair of Coronado and unlike my Thursday’s, there was no break in period. These feel just like my custom Hoka tennis shoes which is high praise. And of course like the Origin Delta Flex jeans I have, they’re American made. I did consider the Hybrid’s, but the original Coronado looked better in my opinion.
Safe to say that I will be another pair, but in slate.

After confirming my foot size, I pulled the slack from the trigger and purchased a pair. The fit is perfect [to size], the boot is comfortable, good looking and well made! If you're looking for a boot that's 100% American and looks great with work pants and T-shirts - these are the boots.
