These are by far the best jeans I have ever owned from a durability and comfort and fit and flexibility perspective. I am obsessed and about to buy some more, however there is a quality control issue. The front right pocket stitching was falling apart when the item was first delivered and continued to get worse after the first time I wore it. I was able to easily fix it with some sewing, but the QC should be improved because it was a very obvious defect that you would see by simply looking at the jeans.

I have a pair of the Fieldcraft jeans, absolutely love them. Wanted another pair so those didn’t get worn out and these went on sale. I got these and the fit in the calf/thigh area was more narrow than the same size/fit in the Fieldcraft version. I “exchanged” them due to fit. When my replacement order arrived, the pair I sent back was repackaged and sent back to me. I know this because there was a catch in the fabric just below the right knee that is present in both pairs I received. Really wish I would’ve received a different pair to see if those would’ve fit better.

I will continue to buy these jeans IF they don’t change the fit or construction. They are wider at the bottom and shorter than they were a year or so ago. That said I really like the fabric, fit and construction SPECIFICALLY the all denim pockets. They took the all denim pockets out of the lightweight jeans now they have crappy lightweight cotton pockets that are not suitable for work. Sucks because I bought 7 or 8 pairs of the lightweight ones for work here in Tennessee over the years they were perfect for summer outdoor work. They also completely changed the fit of the lightweight jeans multiple times. I’d say the biggest problem with Origin is the constant changes in the fit and construction of the lightweight jeans. I really wish they would make the work jeans in lightweight material as well.
