These boots are light and simple.

12 hour days, no crazy outsole, the boots just work.

I’m on my second pair, after about 2 days break in your ready to rock.

These boots have a weak point in the heal area that attaches to the sole, but the customer service team is great and quick to resolve the issue.

The good:

- No break in time. First day of use was 12 hours on the job site. No pains or blisters.

- very comfortable. As said above right away they were comfortable and became more so with use. By far the best work boots I’ve owned by this measure.

- quality leather. Leather is holding up well against the demands of a construction site. No complaints.

The bad:

- Durability concerns. I’ve owned these boots for 6 months now. Typically work 60 hours/week in them. The sole is now separating on both shoes in multiple points. Toe (the worst), arch, and heel. Frustrating due to my OCONUS location there’s nothing locally available that is sufficient. Time to glue and hope it lasts long enough until my return stateside.

Other:

Great customer service. I had to return an initial order of size 11 (normal work boot size) for 10.5: zero issues or hassle.

Overall I recommend but the sole separation so early is frustrating. I don’t think I would buy again.
