I bought this jacket last season and didnt really use it much. This year it stays in my pack so I can put it on at a moments notice. It's become an essential for my layering system. This is now my go to jacket for wind and rain. For rain I wear it on the outside, on cold windy days it's one of my layers. I wore this jacket over a 120gsm Marino top last night to quarter and pack out a deer in 34° with a 17mph wind and periodic rain/snow I stayed warm and dry!

Jacket fits well, is water resistant and windproof. It has no insulation though. It is big enough to throw over an insulation layer, as designed.
