At first I was concerned about the fit. Most of my boat shoes of the past could be worn immediately with socks. Once these broke in which took far less time than expected we were good to go. Sickles is the way. Even with a liner, still awesome. Smells awesome. Fits awesome. Grip and unapologetically good looking. Rock on Pete!

I ordered the Bison boat shoes in a size 14, and as someone with a double E foot, finding shoes that fit well right out of the box is rare. These took just a couple of hours to break in, and after that, they’ve been absolutely perfect. The fit is incredibly comfortable with no pinching or rubbing which is impressive for a new slip-on
These have officially become my go-to summer shoes. I haven’t even thought about wearing socks with them yet and they’re that comfortable. Great build quality, easy to slip on, and they’ve handled everything from daily wear to long days out

I grew up wearing similar styled shoes to these but this pair is in a class by itself. You can instantly see the quality that went into them when you open the protective wrap they come in. I love the made in Maine sticker by the way. Picking them up you feel the difference in weight and its not a bad thing they are a little heavier then lesser quality versions. The feel of the Buffalo leather is great I was a little concerned about break in time since there was a little of that with my Bison boots. But none with these shoes whatever steps taken to soften up the leather worked. I loved the slightly aggressive sole. Origin nailed it again with these shoes. Sizing I am normally a 11.5 wide I went with a 12 to compensate for my wide toe box need and it fits great.
