These boots are top tier. The quality is amazing. You can immediately tell as soon as you open the box. However, I do not know if I will be keeping these boots. I’ve tried them on twice. Just wore them in my room. I bought the size 9 wide. The toe box on these boots just doesn’t feel wide enough for me. It feels like I barely have enough room. I don’t know if there will be more room once they break in. There might, but if there is not I still be stuck with a pair of $300 boots that I am unable to wear. The heel feels very spacious however. If I don’t tie the laces tight I can feel my heel slipping around. If I get a smaller boot they will be way too small, larger, way too big. Sad because I really want to keep these boots.

Ive been going through boots from all different brands and been dissappointed in most. Latest pair from the swoosh brand were the biggest joke of them all. I never expected these boots to look as great as they do...that wasnt my concern when buying them. Just wanted a well built boot that would hold up in attics/crawls spaces and not have the sole fall off. These are far superior to the Redwings ive bought over and over in the past. Feel almost broken in out of the box...my first pair with bison leather and i cant recommend it enough. Super well made, comfortable boot. I will be buying other pairs that dont go to work because aside from build quality it is honestly the nicest looking boot ive ever owned. Went with the everyday boot over the work boot due to having a partially paralyzed right leg and drop foot...so a heel can really be a problem. Plan pn buying another pair with the flat christy soles to check them out as well. Well done Origin...you should be very proud what youre putting out. My brother is a union laborer and will also be converting.

when i started looking for new work boots i came here to check them out and thought... man thats a good bit of change to drop on boots. i saw the story of Origin on The Outdoor channels American Made and was impressed. so i went down a rabbit hole checking out the other brands that i have wore over the years and none of them had the transparency that this company does on as to where they source their high quality materials. onto the boots. right out of the box you can just see, feel and smell the difference with these. after checking out the different style of boot making i am glad i got these. from the first time i laced them up i knew i had made the right decision. you will feel the break in period but that is short lived. the way the leather on the toe box is stitched right to the mid sole gives my flat wide feet a little more room up front. the cushion of the insole is soft yet supportive. i like the options of the 3 different soles you can go with. i got the standard lug because i am not out in the field as much as i used to be. but they go from work, to chores around the house to out and about without any lack of comfort. and if you love the smell of high quality leather... you'll want to just hang these from your rearview mirror. i'll be back for more high quality U.S.A. made boots.
