Origin Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Origin, we build gear for you to live in, train in, and wear out. But if something isn’t quite right, we’ll make it right. We’re happy to accept returns or exchanges as long as your item is in its original, unworn, unwashed condition with tags attached. Alternatively, if you received something defective or an incorrect item in your order, we’ll get that corrected right away.

- Refund to Original Payment – We’ll issue your refund back to the card or payment method you used.
- Gift Card Refund – Receive 100% of your refund as a gift card sent straight to your inbox. Origin gift cards never expire and can be used anytime.
The refund amount does not include shipping and Checkout+ fees.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Use our Returns Portal by clicking this link.
- Enter your order number and shipping ZIP code.
- Follow the portal steps for initiating your return/exchange and to receive your label.
Check Out +
What is Checkout +?
This is an optional add-on feature at checkout for a small fee of $2.98, giving customers free return shipping on eligible items. Please refer to this knowledge article link.
- If a customer paid for Checkout +, after entering their order information in the portal they will see a message indicating they are covered for free returns.
- If a customer did not pay for Checkout +, after entering their order information in the portal they will be subject to a return fee.

- 30-Day Window – You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return or exchange.
- Flexible Exchanges – If your gear is unwashed and unused, you can exchange it for a different size, color, or style pending stock availability.
- Beyond 30 Days? – No worries. Contact our Customer Experience team for a review of your return/exchange request by using the Contact Form.
Exceptions (Final Sale Items)
Some items can’t be returned or exchanged:
- Customized gear
- Worn, washed, or used items
- BJJ compression shorts
- Graded quality and “Last Chance” items
- Gift cards
International Customers

- Please note: we cannot generate return shipping labels for international addresses. You’ll receive our return address for sending your item(s) back.
- Origin will re-ship your exchange items; however, international customers could be subjected to additional customs and tariff charges.
