Same issue twice, worse the second time.
I placed and original order and the replacement I got was twice as bad. The stitched down leather near the mid-foot was not even attached to the sole and hanging loosely. Most of the stitch down around the mid-foot and toe was not glued and finished very roughly. Part of the leather even had an open 1/8" hole, I'm assuming from the die that cuts the leather. Lastly. the leather across the toe was inconsistent and had stretch marks.
I really, really like Origin and badly wanted a nice pair of leather, USA made boots. These fit me well but unfortunately the quality was so bad I could not keep them. No compromise. I felt the issues were unacceptable for a $300 pair of boots, even if they are "work" boots. I opted to not exchange a third time and requested a full refund. Really sad I couldn't be happy with them, I tried.
I can't imagine too many other people would he happy with the quality I received.

Shoe is nice but does not fit, I have been trying to return them for a week. Return process is very difficult, you have to submit form with pictures. I did all of that and I cannot get a response. I have called 3 times, left 3 voicemails, emailed twice and no response!

I've never been a boot guy (aside from the Lugz/timberland/Dr Martens everyone wore in the 90s-early 00s), but picked up a pair to support Origin and USA manufacturing. I think I'm now a boot guy. Comfortable for and easy to wear all day even though they're not fully broken in yet. I have wide feet but have zero issues with the toe box. The heel locks into place nicely without having to pull the laces prohibitively tight. As I'm using these for casual wear as opposed to work, it'd be cool to see a 4" tall collar in the future, but otherwise I look forward to failing to wear these boots out as they're extremely well made.

The materials and craftsmanship are top notch. I was very pleased with the build and material quality.
The major issue with these boots is the stitch down welt pad is so wide that from above, these look like silly clown shoes. The heel Rand is pretty ridiculous looking as well and uneven. A lot wider on one side vs the other. So it looks off and not uniform.
These issues looked so silly and obnoxiously clown like that I paid for a cobbler to cut the stitch down width down and even up the Rand width on each side. If they came from the factory like this, these would easily be 5 stars
