I have owned every major brand of hunting clothing over the past twenty years. The Stealth Wool set from Origin is by far my favorite whitetail hunting set .

It is dead quiet, regulates temperature and can be an outerlayer or go under the Novaloc set to comfortably hunt any temps in VA.

First off, huge Origin supporter. Love the mission and have never been let down by a product.

TLDR: 100% recommended product but improvements can be made.

I am a pretty fit guy with larger legs (like 28-28.75 inch quads) and an average waist. So finding pants to fit me is a true pain. Usually in order to fit my quads the waist is huge and I either deal with it or go to my tailor. These fit the waist and thighs well but maybe need a tailor for length. Unsure yet.

I primarily hunt the Appalachian mountains where the weather can have pretty huge swings and I have enjoyed these pants on two different weather days so far. One was mild 50’s with wind and felt great while hiking in/out. Breeze could pass through but did take a bit long to dry from sweating (but did dry overnight). Next day was colder and windy. Hike in was great but a few hours into sitting in 30’s with wind the pants alone were too cold. Easy fix to put on a thin base layer and was perfect again.

So to improve: 1. The crotch gusset/seat of the pant can be reinforced with the same material used on the knees. As said my legs are pretty thick and after two days of probably 5-6 miles I can see fabric wearing down (see pic). 2. Maybe putting some blousing strings in the legs like on OCP/multicam pants to keep the heat in/wind out a bit more when still.

Overall, love the pants and my wife was jealous while out in the woods so ordered her a pair too. Certainly recommend and would buy again. Look forward to seeing…
