I pit my mind and body against the elements, against gravity itself. I wrestle the wilderness. To carve the earth. To tame it, to shape it. To cut through mountains and hoist up towns and cities. I force metal, wood, and stone to my will. I forge civilizations to stand against time.
I FIGHT TO PROVIDE
I chase the daylight. Up in the dark. In the cold. In the rain. In the blistering heat. I endure the extremes of every season. To break and turn the soil. To force life into it. To raise and protect the livestock. Against predators. Against disease. Against the chaos of climate. Against corporate greed and foreign poachers. All to bring in the crops and herds that keep us alive.

I beat down fear. I push through fatigue. Through long hours and long months away from the ones I love. I risk it all. I carry it all. I remember it all. The things I’ve seen. And I keep going. The next tour. The next shift. The next cry for help. For as long as you need me there.
