Please keep in mind I am being critical, especially as a fan of Origin. I own three other Origin boots, work denim, and two different BJJ Gis.
To the one biggest issue I personally have with the Origin Chelsea boot there is a sewn in seam at the inner heel area. This seam connects the two heel counters and it is directly top to bottom sewn along where your heel sits and it is very uncomfortable. This may go away as the boot wears in, but I have not reached that point after 3 days of casual wear.
Granted, in the same area, they did include an extra layer of leather (mole skin or another tough leather) where your heel would normally wear through on the interior. This is something my Origin Lincoln boots did not have and had to be added after 6 to 9 months of wear.
The leather is slightly dry around the toe and needed some mink oil . Typical maintenance. They look great with jeans and slip on well. If Origin could make the mole skin patch on the interior a one piece design instead of two sewn together, this might be a nearly perfect boot.

My first pair of Origin boots. They’re nicer than the Red Wing Chelsea boots I bought for the same price. Ordered a size 11. I’m an 11.5 on the Brannock device. Fit is snug which is what I wanted to allow for break in. Very happy with the look and feel of the boots so far. Too nice for ME to wear to work but I will wear them everywhere else. Thanks for providing an American made option.

As I am no stranger to high-end boots and shoes, I was genuinely excited to purchase these American made boots.
Out the box, I was impressed by the weight/heft of the boots. These are not your big box store replace annually shoes. These are well built and seemingly durable boots.
However, as other reviews noted, the fit is on the snug side. I would HIGHLY encourage you to print off the sizing guide, follow the instructions, and order accordingly. I would compare the sizing to Hanwag more so than I would other brands. As an 11D in most all footwear, with Origin I am an 11.5EE.
