I was initially hesitant about these boots since they’re a new style from Origin. However, my first impression is outstanding—exceptional quality, styling, and fit. There’s no heel slip, and the toe box is perfectly sized. Supporting a company like Origin, which manufactures in the USA, is a priority for many of us. These boots justify the premium price compared to overseas alternatives. Not only are you backing American craftsmanship, but you’re also getting a superior product. Well done, Origin!

These are absolutely the best fit I've ever encountered for a boot purchase. Comfortable right out of the box and looks stunning. I loved this brown pair so much I hopped back online and ordered the same Chelsea boot in black. When arrived, it also fit perfectly and most comfortable boot I've ever put on without the need for "wearing them in" over a long period. Great purchase and definitely will view other products from Origin.

These are the first boots I have ever bought, except for winter/snow boots. So I am not a boot expert, but these absolutely impressed me. I bought these to use instead of a casual/dress shoe in casual business attire, and they work great for my purposes. I can wear them in the summer, although I will probably choose a different summer shoe to complement these, once Origin has more options in footwear. I missed the first boat shoe release unfortunately, but will look forward to future options in Origin shoes.
They are a little bit of work to pull on, but I assume that is normal with a Chelsea boot, and it gets easier with technique and break-in. The pull tab is extremely functional for this.
I was not sure what to expect with comfort and the sole, but I can happily say that they are very comfortable (and I think they will get more comfortable with ongoing break-in) and I am relieved to say that the sole is excellent. With some shoes, I find that they are 'canted' inward or biased toward pronation of the foot and this drives me crazy. These boots are absolutely neutral, thankfully, and my foot sits naturally flat on the ground. Well done Origin! I expect to wear these boots for many years.
Sometimes I buy wides because I prefer a larger toe box: But with this shoe I printed out the size chart and went with its recommendation, which was size 10.5 in normal width, and this worked great. For reference, Origin calls the 10.5 a 44 in euro sizing (which is relevant to me from…

Pete kept saying how much he loved these before they came available and now I know why. They fit like they were molded to my feet, look So Sharp, and Dang the craftsmanship looks like they're something you'd get in a fine Italian dress shoe, but they're made in America, by Americans, 100% American products!!! Now if I could only get my hands on a pair of those Boat shoes...my fingers weren't fast enough to get my order in :( before they sold out in minutes but you can get these now and if you're on the fence, don't be. I promise you love them!
