TLDR: The biggest issue I have experienced is that the pants are extremely restrictive through the upper thigh and hip/groin area.

If you decide to try these out, I recommend ordering a size up from your normal pant size, as the description that states they have a looser/roomier fit is entirely false & misleading.

I ordered them in 36 waist and 30 (long), as my normal jeans/pant size is 36x34, which always fits fine. These BJJ pants were so tight and snug around my waist that I can’t even fit my hand inside the waistband and so tight around my groin and thighs that I experienced a serious restriction in mobility during rolls.

My recommendation to Origin to improve them:

Rather than simply making the entire pant larger or baggier altogether, I think the ideal solution would be to maintain the tapered, athletic silhouette, but from the lower thigh section above the knee & down to the ankle, while adding additional room and articulation through the upper thigh, hips, and seat regions.

Also, it would be nice to integrate a sort of 4 way stretch/elastic material in the inner thighs, groin, and the waist/belt line with a gusseted crotch for more freedom of movement for guard work, shrimping, hip escapes, inversions, squatting, etc. similar to something like Crye Precision’s combat pants.
