Haven’t had the opportunity to wear it during cold weather and probably won’t have the chance until the end of the year. Definitely runs a little small. Normally I’d wear a large but that barely fit with just a t-shirt underneath, had to return for an XL (5’8” 180lbs). Seems very lightweight for a winter jacket but hoping the novaloc is as good as described.

Really like the jacket. Warm, well-insulated and plenty of pockets to stash stuff. Sizing runs a bit small so order a size up. I’m 5’9, 175lb, 33 inch waste with a barrel chest and broad shoulders and usually wear a medium. The medium in this jacket was really snug so I exchanged it for a large. The Large fit nicely

Very nice coat. I expected it to be thicker. More of a winter coat. But I am pleased with the look and fit. Great for mild winter or fall days. Good light coat to run in from car . I would not use as winter coat if I was working outside. Looks sharp. Made in US.

I had been eyeing this jacket for a while, but finally pulled the trigger, when Origin had a sale going. I've considered buying similar jackets from big name brands in the past, but paying upwards of $300 for a jacket made in a sweatshop, overseas, just rubbed me the wrong way. This jacket also seems way more durable than a regular down jacket. Like everything Origin makes, This jacket is of the highest quality! It does run a little smaller than I would have expected though. I'm glad I went with the medium and not a small. I'm only 5'4" tall, so the length is perfect, but I have an athletic/muscular build, so it's a little snug around the lats. I don't think I'll need to layer too much underneath it, anyway, so it should be fine.

The novaloc insulated jacket is great! The only problem is the quality control on the seams. It is brand new out of the bag and the stitching is already coming apart. I may have to return or replace.
