Look, fit, comfort, & minimalist (no frills) purely functional jacket make this awesome. Bought on sale in spring & in no hurry for cold weather but certain it will perform great, just like the novaloc vest does. Made in America worth price alone

Initially after placing the order I thought it would be a bit too big and heavy for travel. Exactly opposite. Super light weight and very comfortable the draw strings in the pocket are a unique idea and jacket is well worth the money. I’ll buy the green version when back in stock.

I was super excited to get this jacket and when it finally arrived, I was a bit disappointed at the quality. It felt a little cheap. But I own almost all of the Origin Hunting gear so I figured it would be the same quality as the rest of the gear I own. Unfortunately, after only wearing it twice (not hard use in the slightest) the seams busted on the hood of the jacket. Since I had worn it, at first Origin was not going to take it back but after a conversation with a customer service rep I was able to get my money back. Everything else from Origin seems of the highest quality but this jacket is not. But because in the end the company did right by me I will continue to buy from them.
