Just received. Tried on. Really nice pants that are soft to the touch. Fit nice and snug, at least for me. 6”4 220. With a feel that this is the kind of cloth that will settle in a bit as they are worked in. Also, from looks so far can take an “EDC beating”.
My only issue is my length never runs correct b/c so many manufacturers out there and each one uses their own cutting methods, machinery and software to cut sizes. So these MOAB pants at 36x32 may be a 38x30 at Dockers and then also be a 36x30 with the “Rover” slim pants out of Buckberry’s website.
I may have to exchange these ones b/c the length may be a size too long and respectfully Origin has a poor system for exchanges and logistics. It may take you a month to get everything straightened out. I don’t want to compare them to the “evil empire” that is Amazon but there is something to it and Origin needs to get on cutting times for customers and fast or they risk losing Americans who want to patron an American brand.
SizingRated 0.0 on a scale of minus 2 to 2Runs Small True to Size Runs LargeWas this helpful?OUOrigin USA3 days agoHi Eric,
Thank you for your enthusiastic 5-star review and feedback on our MOAB pants. We're thrilled to hear you love the comfortable yet durable fabric and that the fit seems true to size for your build. Your insights on the potential break-in period and ability to withstand everyday carry (EDC) are greatly appreciated.
We understand your frustrations with sizing inconsistencies across brands. As a small American manufacturer, we strive to provide precise size guides, but recognize the challenges of achieving a perfect fit for every body type. Thank you for your patience - we're committed to streamlining our exchange process to better serve customers like yourself.
We truly value your support of American-made goods and the Origin brand. Your feedback helps us continually improve our products and services. We look forward to providing you with exceptional Origin apparel that you'll love wearing for years to come.
