The pants are made from a breathable fabric that flexes very well with great construction. I really want to like these pants but the fit is off. I ordered them in relaxed fit in the size that I typically wear for jeans/slacks and when I tried them on they fit like a "skinny jean", skin tight all the way from the seat to my ankle. Then I messaged origin and asked which fit would give the most leg room and they said the straight fit, so exchanged them for a straight fit with a 2" larger waist than my normal size. After trying them on, they had more room in the seat and thigh but were tight around the calf and ankle making it fit like a Taper jean. I exchanged them again for another straight fit with 4" larger than my standard waist. These fit much better on the leg but still had a small opening at the ankle. I don't have large thighs or anything that would make them unusually tight but looking at the models wearing the pants in the examples they seemed like they would fit loose with room around the ankle to fit over my shoe but all the fitments I tried on felt more like a skinny jean. If the proportion on the pant ever change to a more relax fit that would lay over the shoe I would like to buy a few more pair to wear daily for work.

Casual enough for a t-shirt and dress enough for business casual is punched up with a nice shirt and dressier foot wear. Material is extremely comfortable, but strong without feeling coarse, perfect amount of give. If you have larger calfs even the relaxed fit may be a bit snug on them. This was my first pair of MOABs, and I immediately ordered more after wearing these.
