My husband and son bought one of these hoodies a year or so ago. They raved about the hood being large enough to cover your head to block the wind EVERY time they wore it. The front pocket was much wider than any other swearshirt they had. Weird at first but then they liked that it covered more of their arms. They wore this shirt more than any other due to the quality and THAT hood. These are not cheap and they run a size small but they loved them so much I had to buy them another. I loved they were a Maine company. I ordered the size I thought would fit first and that's when we found out the entire shirt had been redesigned. The hood, pocket, no ties, even the chest logo had disappeared. I thought I had ordered the wrong shirt. My son decided to keep the smaller size which indicates to me he will not wear it often. I was able to go through the exchange process for my husband. It will be rotated in with his other sweatshirts as it's just not anything special. Certainly not worth the money anymore. I have included a photo of the original green hoodie. See how the hood comes down lower? Also, notice the width of the pocket compared to the navy blue. The original seems slightly heavier cloth. These are the same size 2xl.
