Was looking for a windbreaker (not to be confused with packable rainjackets which are better for water but not breathable). This one is great, its really nice to the touch, not clammy or plastic bag feeling. Feels way better than all my other windbreakers/rainjackets. Very light and breathable, but still cuts that wind, which is all you need sometimes. I usually wear an XXL in origin stuff as I'm like 230 and have a 50" chest, but this ones cut bigger probably for layering wool or fleece in the cold. I probably could have gotten away with an XL for a more summer only layer. Just an excuse to get another one.
If they every make these again for non hunting, I'd say the pass through pockets are not needed, normal pockets are fine. Hood is sized a little big and hangs over my eyes if I don't happen to have a had, I'd have an drawstring or adjustment or just make it smaller (I even have a big head and its too big).

Have worn this jacket quite a bit here in the recent heavy rain we've received and throughout the end of spring and have been very impressed with the ability of cutting wind. I love how it can be packed into the breast pocket and not take up much room in a a pack. However, the jacket has leaked and allowed me to get wet in a steady light rain and it came through the sleeves on my forearms. And then I had the jacket on to run out to grab something in a heavy rain and in less than 5 minutes, my shoulders and back were completely soaked. Will definitely be using this during season but I'm gonna have to go through and waterproof the whole jacket prior to season.

Really glad to hear the wind-cutting performance and packability are hitting the mark for you; that stow feature in the breast pocket is definitely one of the things we're proud of with this jacket.
Sorry to hear about the water getting through on your forearms and shoulders, especially in that heavy downpour. When you're getting soaked in under 5 minutes, that's not the performance you should be getting from this jacket, even if it's more wind-focused than a dedicated rain shell.
We'll get your feedback about the water resistance issues directly to our design team so they can look at the sleeve construction and overall water treatment. This kind of real-world testing in actual weather conditions is exactly what we need to understand where the jacket's limits are and where we might need to improve.

The Bodyloc Raptor is as advertised. It is not designed for heavy all-day rain. That being said it is perfect for mist, light rain, a quick rain shower, or as an extra layer to keep mild weather out. Were it shines is its light-weightiness and packability. If you are looking for something to stow fast in a pack that doesn't take much extra room, and you can’t tell it’s there then this is for you. It feels comfortable and allows for (somewhat quite) movement.
