Outside of the free belts that come with a gi or at promotion in the past I’ve used Tatami and Isami belts. Both of these were pretty good, hard wearing and the Isami in particular kept the knot well while rolling. The Origin belt in comparison is of much higher quality even over the Isami. It’s absolutely solid and the small details as with all Origin stash makes it a stand out. It’s thicker, great colour and the leather branding combined make for money well spent. I can tell it’s going to last right through. I took the A2L though I wear a A3 gi. The A3 belts normally way too long and the A2 are a hair too short but this version is spot on. Not worn it rolling or washed it yet so that’s something else but initial thoughts - awesome.
