I try to keep this short. But bottom line - I love these shoes.
I ordered these after seeing the Origin founders in a video about Quoddy shoes in Lewiston ME. I'm a big fan of the moccasin style of shoemaking that's epicenter is Lewiston ME. Quoddy makes these shoes to Origin's design spec. (The flex soles is a hallmark of some Quoddy shoes - which I own).
I'm a size 11 on a Brannock, and reviews said to order normal size, even though I usually size down 1/2 for natural leathers. The 11 came and was very comfortable. A touch long, but a low toe box so didn't feel loose. I decided to order a size 10.5 to see if that would tighten it up. They arrived and were tight, but barefoot wear loosened them and I love them.
Bottom line: I'm keeping both. At the deal price of $199 it's worth it. I can wear the 11s with socks. And the look and feel are outstanding. I'm 200lb, but walk a lot, so my feet and legs are in good shape. The softe sole might bother heavier wearers, but I love the flex sole, It's a winner.

I love these shoes. From the first time I slipped them on it was a great fit. They started out a little snug, but as you said they loosened up very quickly. There was no real break in time. I wore them for a couple of hours the first time and then didn' give a second thought about wearing them for a longer time. Keep up the good work Origin..................

Quick and to the point. Super high value for a Made in ME hand sewn. Even the insole is matching Bison which is top notch. Video gets into the OEM source so I won't cover that but this is well worth it. Great looks and on the "Dressier" side for a moccasin with the deep red/brown Bison. Sizing is true to BRANNOCK US in my experience. I am a US11.5D/E (right on the edge). AE Park Ave 11.5E, Rancourt 11E loafer, Thursday 11.5D Captain etc. The sizing chart they give is accurate. Width is correct. When put on they are snug on the width (as expected with new and my D+ width). This is perfect as the leather will conform to my foot. I go barefoot. As with other quality loafers (Rancourt, OSB etc) you want them SNUG to start so the leather can stretch. Highly Recommended.
